Hello and Welcome!

This season, Poor Yorick's Players will be performing and -- wait for it! -- documenting Macbeth! It's all great fun being able to rehearse and perform FREE summer theater for the community, but we're taking it a notch further and sharing our rehearsals, tricks, and behind-the-scenes fun with YOU!

April is a member of the board of Poor Yorick's Players and the stage manager extraordinaire for this summer's production of Macbeth. By day she crunches numbers for fun because she is such a huge nerd; by night she helps run a theater company. She proudly holds a B.A. from Dickinson College in International Busniess and Management. When not being a nerd, she is even a bigger nerd reading all things Charles de Lint, watching reruns of the "Big Bang Theory", eating Funfetti cake with Funfetti icing and frolicking about the world. She has previously performed at Sylvia in Two Gentleman of Verona and Lady Montague in Romeo and Juliet.

Kristin will be performing with Poor Yorick's for her third season as the Third Witch (fitting? Third and third?) and she blogs regularly at mylifeasateacup. She's currently a senior at the University of Pittsburgh, majoring in English literature and Japanese. When she's not being an academic, she likes to continue her geekery by ridding the world of zombies, having Firefly-watching marathons, and baking cupcakes. She has previously performed as Ursula in Much Ado About Nothing, and Juliet in Romeo & Juliet.

Be sure to bookmark the site or subscribe via RSS feed to stay updated on all of the fun Yorick's happenings, like Q&A's with the director, character explorations from the actors, and mischief from the witches themselves!
